Antioch: Man Who Confronts Two Prowlers at Neighbors House Shot At

The Antioch Police Department confirmed multiple gunshots were fired Sunday morning in the 4600 block of Imperial Street in the City of Antioch.

According to police, at approximately 3:30 am Sunday, a male observed two prowlers lurking around a neighbors house acting suspicious. He went outside and confronted the two males who then fired several gunshots at him before fleeing. The suspects were described as two Asian males. No other description was provided.

Upon investigation, police located several casings in the area of the shooting. No injuries or property damage was reported.

Police did not provide any other information.

Police advise members of the community rather than taking action into your own hands, to call 9-1-1 if you see something out of place and should not be occurring.

Its probably not wise to go outside to confront 2 prowlers. Best to call Mr.Smith and Mr.Wesson to help first, then the APD.

How about just call APD first and let them deal with the situation? It’s called being a good witness … not a dead one.
