At 11:19 pm Saturday, a female was struck by gunfire during a drive-by shooting that occurred on Auto Center Drive in the City of Antioch.
According to Antioch Police, two vehicles had left Paradise Skate on W 10th Street when they were driving southbound on Auto Center Drive between W 10th Street and Costco Way when the suspect vehicle pulled up and began opening fire.
In total, two vehicles were struck by gunfire which believed to have had two shooters as several rounds were fired into the vehicles. One vehicle was located in the AAA parking lot with the occupant struck by glass. Another vehicle was located at L Street and Sycamore with a female struck with a gunshot wound to the upper back. She was transported to a local hospital and was expected to survive.
Police are currently investigating and have no suspects as of print of this article and the suspect vehicle was described as small white sedan.

Just another day in the hood.
Tamisha Walker should have been removed from the Antioch City Council months and months ago. Arsonists cannot run for any public office, even if their case is expunged! What part of that doesn’t the City understand? How long are we going to be putting up with that?
