On 3/9/2021, at approximately 11:14 AM, Antioch police officers were called to the 2100 block of Aspen Way on the report of a subject that was shot in the street.

Numerous officers responded to the scene and located a sedan stopped in the street with several bullet holes in it.  The vehicle was unoccupied.  Officers quickly learned that the vehicle was occupied by two male victims who were wounded and fled to a nearby residence.  The suspect(s) responsible for the shooting fled the scene in a vehicle and were not located.

Pay attention Lamar

Reform Mar 9, 2021 - 1:33 pm

Maybe the Council should try a “Citizen or Community Reform” first before trying a Police Reform. But, when you call out 1 without calling out the other, you bring more of this in.

Boycott Antioch!! Mar 9, 2021 - 1:56 pm

Antioch has become a war zone! City Council and mayor DO NOT SUPPORT THE POLICE!!

Antioch is the new oakland. But lets not blame these thugs none of this is their fault. They had bad childhoofs, they are poor, they are bored, racism too… so they just absolutley cannot control their behavior. We should hug them and tell them its ok

It was probably those white supremacists again. They’re always causing violence in Antioch. They’re the biggest reason why Antioch is the way it is. Now if only we can get the police defunded so the city can prevent stuff like this from happening again.

Wow, not that any shooting is acceptable, but this is actually a nice neighborhood. My wife and I were just looking at homes in that area last summer. I’m happy we ended up settling in Pittsburg (I know..we have our fair share of crime as well, but it seems like Antioch is having shootings every day.).

STAY SAFE APD Mar 9, 2021 - 4:15 pm

ANTIOCH HAS VOTED CRIME INTO THIS CITY BY HAVING A MAYOR THAT DOESN’T CARE WHAT’S GOING ON IN HIS OWN COUNSEL AND WON’T STAND UP TO HIS COUNSEL AND A COUNSEL WOMAN WALKER THAT MOST OF HER LIFE WITH 18 ARRESTS UNDER HER BELT PROVES THAT SHE’S ON THE SIDE OF THESE CRIMINALS. WE HAVE GOT TO GET THROPE AND WALKER OUT OF CITY COUNSEL BECAUSE THEY ARE TURNING ANTIOCH INTO SLUMVILLE LIKE RICHMOND AND OAKKAND. PUT OUR POLICE CHIEF IN CHARGE OF THIS CITY UNTIL WE GET A MAYOR THAT IS FOR POLICE AND SAFETY OF OUR CITY. NOT THUGS IN OFFICE LIKE THERE IS NOW. REFORM AND RECALL THIS COUNSEL NOT OUR POLICE DEPT. WE SUPPORT OUR APD.

For the life of me, I simply cannot understand how in the world you people put Thorpe, the Wilson and Walker women in Antioch city leadership! The worst thing you could have done. What were you using for brains?

I’m so glad I got out of Antioch 4 years ago. I live in the high desert Utah. At least I don’t have to dodge bullets everyday.
