And we are only in early May. Its going to be a long summer riddled by gunfire and death.
Let thousands out of prison ……what could POSSIBLY
GO WRONG!
Thanks newsom!!! POS!
That 7-11 has always had problems. I stopped in there only once as some deranged meth addict started swinging a baseball bat at people demanding money and the idiot behind the country wouldn’t call the cops! The meth addicts who get their fix from the nearby clinic, have been hanging out in there. Friends who live nearby want that business shut down.
As someone whose father is a junkie that goes to that clinic, I agree. He’s been going there for 7 years and it’s just another drug to boost his heroin and meth. They’re not helping at all, just providing easier fixes.
That list of known Antioch shootings says it all. THIS is Antioch’s fundamental problem – and the current City Council is silent about it.
The bigger issue is WHY has the Mayor not put the Antioch Police annual report presentation on the agenda. Brentwood, Pittsburg and many other cities have had their annual data.
That is a good question. The obvious answer would be that it doesn’t fit with their political agenda. Clearly, no City Council can prevent all or most violent crime, but some leadership, moral or practical, would be a step in the right direction. They won’t even condemn the perpetrators.
Why hasn’t DUH MAYOR done that? Because he’s a total fucking IDIOT! Another question is, “What have the people of Antioch ever done to deserve such a total idiot for mayor?”
@ECT
On defense of the Mayor (knowing about any of my past post’s, you know that I would never defend him), last week was the first week of the month, here in Antioch the street sweepers do their job and must have swept away Mayor Thorps ladder that he uses to get on that VERY HIGH horse and could not get down from there to answer any questions or fulfill his duties at City Hall. So I think we should just leave him be, when he gets hungry or dizzy (from the altitude of the height) he’ll come back down to tell us once again, he was out of town during the pandemic to comment on any items that transpired in the city.
p.s. ECT, you are doing a great job and let all the haters run off your back like water off a ducks back.
The shooting in 2021 is not correct, you left out February 14th, when my friend Mike was murdered off Putnam
Antioch is turning into the Chicago of the west coast. Mayor where are you and your puppet hiding.
ANTIOCH IS THE NEW OAKLAND!!!!!!
The mayor of Antioch is an incompetent joke. This is inexcusable to keep occurring .
The city gets a crappy mayor and that’s what happens. Another “winner” we had was Wade Harper!
ECT
Because The Mayor and The illegal council women don’t want people to think any things wrong. Or there is a need for police to protect us That’s THEIR agendas.
They Are Anti-Police and Anti-Antioch . They are Criminal, what they are doing to Antioch is Criminal.
They only release information when the information can be used to further their agendas. That’s how it looks to me anyway. Heck I haven’t seen Sunshine since December Antioch’s So darn Shady anymore.
Has the name of the 18 year old shooting victim been released?
They want to totally destroy Antioch! These people must be stopped!
