Updated: Where to View the Best Christmas Light Displays in East County

by ECT

By popular demand of our readers, we have created a list of Christmas light displays throughout Antioch, Brentwood and Oakley which we have shown over the past few weeks on Facebook. Below is a list of some of the homes we have shown and others we have not, we hope to add to the list as we inch closer towards Christmas.

If you think we should add a home, please email us at [email protected].

2921 Camby Rd – Note, there are several homes around this home for viewing pleasure along with light shows and music. If you continue East Down Camby, there is another home full of lights. We do not have the address at this time–maybe 10-15 homes down.

blue rock

612 Bluerock Dr –  Beautiful home with light display to music.  A second home on Bluerock is worth the trip less than a mile away located at 2556 Bluerock Dr. less than a mile away… just be sure to cross Deer Valley Road.

Colonial Ct

3732 Colonial Ct.

  • 4639 Shannondale Drive
  • 4754 Sterling Hill Dr

Brentwood

Fiorita Brentwood

Fiorita – This is a corner house off of Apricot which is full of displays across the home. This photo does not do this beauty any justice.

edera brentwood

Edera Place – This home is huge and beautifully decorated.

sofia ct
Sofia Ct. – The tree caught our eye, but its a nice display with a few homes on this court that add to the presentation.

Other Brentwood Homes

  • McClarren Rd – two homes nicely decorated between Griffin and Walnut.
  • 1873 White Sands – have not confirmed this, but a reader says its a good home to view.

Oakley

Matisse Ct

23 Matisse Court – a solid light display show.

Concannon Dr.

Concannon Drive off Vintage Parkway  lots of great decorations. They have a bin out front and you are encouraged to donate food which is distributed to the Contra Costa County Food Bank. Note, if you keep going down Concannon Drive, you will eventually run into Stonegate Circle where we hear there is another nice home to view.

904 stonegate oakley

904 Stonegate Circle – wonderful display and light show. Lots to view.

montevino way

Montevino Way – nothing over the top on this street, but plenty of homes with lights and decorations.

windsor lane

2320 Windsor Lane – right around the corner from Montevino, this home has beauty hand crafted cutouts.  Also be sure to check out 2380 Windsor Lane. Exiting this neigborhood and crossing Oakley Road, be sure to stop by a home on Beldin Lane which is worth the 10-second drive.

Other Homes in Oakley

  • Stonegate Circle
  • Beldin Lane
  • 12 Red Barn Court
  • 5016 Teakwood Drive
  • 1250 Fetzer Lane
  • Creekside Way neighborhood… usually lots of good lights. Have not yet verified this year.

Bethel Island – Candy Cane Lane
Via our friend Cha-Cha Cha: It is located off of Gateway. Travel past Piper. . . look on the right. . .you go down a road. . . and it opens up into a humongous ‘Winter Wonderland’ of music, and lights, and many moving characters. It is definitely worth the drive out to see this ‘all’ in one location, and FREE. Though many local people like to leave a little donation to help the ever so SWEET residents with the cost of the PG & E. Open every evening. . . .COME ON OUT.

Thanks Mike. Nice list. We have been taking the kids out to see the lights for years. This makes it easier.

I’m one of the people that live at the Bethel Island “Candy Cane” address (4220 Gateway Rd, Bethel Island.) There are over 70 blowups, which are only on from 6:00-9:00pm, Fri-Sun, the rest of the lights are on every evening from 6:00-9:00pm. Everyone is welcome. It IS free, this is the first year in the 8 years we have been doing this in which we have started accepting donations, which are always welcome and received with much gratitude. Merry Christmas to those in our surrounding neighborhoods!

I forgot to add – from Christmas Eve until New Years the lights and the blowups will be on every night from 6:00-9:00pm.
