My relatives worked for Walt Disney from the time he got started! Some were involved in helping design Disney parks. Walt was very good to his employees. Once Walt died, the whole place fell apart. There is no way Walt would allow entrance tickets to his kingdom to be $100+ per person. He would also NOT allow sloppily-dressed people in his parks. Walt is spinning in his grave over what has become to the company he founded. It’s unrecognizable! The Disney Company is “Disney” in name only! It is no longer owned by any of the Disney clan and it’s a bloody shame.
Disney is now only about maximum rip off for the customer. Everything is extremely overpriced, their parks extremely overfilled. I try to avoid Disney as much as I can, but it is difficult because they keep buying all competitors.
While Walt Disney was alive, the park let in only so many people as to it NOT being overcrowded and those people had to look presentable! Not slobs with half their fat bellies hanging out were allowed in. A lot of security kept people from getting into fights! The parking lot was monitored by security people. The park was CLEAN . . unlike what it’s like today. Trash everywhere! Even our kids don’t want to go there anymore. Same with Knott’s Berry Farm!
No! I am not planning to signup for DISNEY+ because Disney is now what it used to be, unfortunately.
