Daily Question: What is your favorite Halloween candy?
With Halloween events beginning this weekend, it seems appropriate to poll our readers and see what their favorite Halloween candy is.
According to CandyStore.com, they have tracked candy sales for 11-years and stated that in California, the number one candy is Skittles followed by M&M’s and Assorted Salt Water Taffy.
Overall, the top 10 list included:
- Skittles
- Reese’s Cups
- M&M’s
- Snickers
- Starbursts
- Candy Corn
- Hot Tamales
- Tootsie Pops
- Sour Patch Kids
- Hershey’s.
Meanwhile, according to a Monmouth University study, they found that the most popular candy is a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup with 36% of Americans picking this as their favorite. In second place, was Snickers at 18%, M&M’s was third at 11%. Meanwhile, Hershey bars (6%), Candy Corn (6%), Skittles (5%), Starburst (4%) and Tootsie Pops (2%) were also named.

As a bigoted Republican who’s scared of brown people, foreigners, Californians, and commies, I don’t let my kids trick or treat because now they’re giving away marijuana candies, not just razors! I think I got high from a Reese’s the other day! There’s even weed in the vaccines!
