At 4:30 pm Saturday, a motorcyclist was injured after a crash on Byron Highway and Holey Road at the S-Curve.
According to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, they arrived to find a motorcyclist off the roadway. Firefighters immediately treated the patient prior to being transported to John Muir Medical Hospital by medical helicopter.
Although the District did not provide any further information, they did say the accident may have been alcohol related, however, its still under investigation by California Highway Patrol.
