by ECT

Earlier this morning, many of our readers provided us with information regarding a big rig vs. auto accident on Highway 160 near the Jct. Route 160 to Mokelumne River on Sherman Island around 6:30. The incident destroyed one vehicle while leaving the big rig placed over the guard rail and into a ditch along the water. This slowed traffic in both directions.

We are hearing the road could either be closed or drivers could experience delays up until 8:00 or 9:00 pm

We are unsure what caused the accident, but we did want to share the photographs courtesy of Briana Klas and Billy Duran
