During Thursday nights “Remember 9/11 Memorial Concert”, participants remembered the fallen while honoring first responders and military personnel.
The event was held at the East County Veterans Resource Center in Antioch on L Street and 2nd” and organized by Josie Monaghan who also shared the story of how her son serving the country led her to want to give back to the community.
Antioch City Councilwoman Monica Wilson shared how 9/11 forever changed her and that was the moment she wanted to give back to her community.
The crew from CONFIRE Station 81 made an appearance towards the end of the evening and were greeted to a round of applause and standing ovation. In response, the crew thanked those in attendance for “never forgetting”.
Entertainment and music was provided by Christina Amato.

Of course I meant ‘spelling.’ That mistake was from using my phone to reply.
