At 1:45 pm Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a man who had been crushed by a vehicle in the 300 block of E. Ruby Street in the City of Oakley.
Engine 53 arrived on scene where they were told a male was crushed by a truck. The male was able to free himself from underneath the truck. Care was provided with AMR and was transported by CALSTAR to a local trauma center.
According to battalion Chief Craig Auzenne, the male sustained unspecified traumatic injuries.
No other information was provided.
