At 7:45 pm Monday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District was dispatched to a report of a garage on fire in the 4800 block of Snowy Egret Way in the City of Oakley.
Engine 53 arrived on scene reporting nothing showing, however, located a smoldering fire in the garage. All occupants were reported out of the structure.
Crews were attempting to still make access as of 7:53 pm. They did report sprinklers were deployed.
