On Monday at about 7:50 PM, Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff dispatch received a report of a shooting on Clement Avenue in Bay Point.
Deputy Sheriffs arrived at the scene and found two male victims (ages 22 and 23) suffering from gunshot wounds. One was in the street and another was in a vehicle.
One of the victims was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, while the other was taken to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch. Their wounds do not appear to be life-threatening.
Deputies, along with a helicopter, searched the area for the suspects, but none was located.
Detectives are continuing to investigate this shooting.
