7:15 pm UPDATE per Oakley Police

Abducted Child (update)
This afternoon before 2 p.m., Oakley Police Officers were contacted by Administrators at the Gehringer Elementary School. School staff advised that a parent who was not the court-approved custodial parent was at the school trying to pick up her 11 year-old child. Realizing the parent was not the custodial parent, the school contacted the Police Department. At the same time, another unknown adult entered the school grounds and contacted the student. The student willingly went with the adult to one of the perimeter fences of the campus, climbed the fence, and entered a waiting vehicle. The vehicle was a black four-door Infinity Sedan. The vehicle then drove from the neighborhood.

At this point, OPD Investigators believe the non-custodial parent came to the school with the intent of violating the custodial order. This same parent had previously violated a custody order involving this child. In that instance, the child was taken to another State. The child was recently recovered from that case. Investigators believe the child was aware of the presence of the non-custodial parent and the plan to leave the Gehringer campus.

OPD Investigators treating this investigation as a Felony Child Custody Order Violation (278.5PC). The child, SASHA PAGE, should be in the company of her non-custodial parent, QUAMESHA LOTT (8/2/78). Investigators are currently working to locate the pair and are seeking assistance from the public in locating them ([email protected]). OPD Investigators are working with County, State and federal Agencies regarding this case.

Sasha is described as an 11 year old African American girl, black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5’2” tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds, hair down to her upper back, last seen wearing a blue/gold Warriors jersey, blue jeans, orange/pink Air Jordan shoes and a gold or brown backpack.

Quamesha is described as a 41 year old African American woman, blonde (or bleached) short hair, brown eyes, 5’1”, 155 pounds, wearing a black shirt.

12:30 am Update UPDATE TO PARENTAL ABDUCTION CASE

The mother in this case (Quamesha Lott) was located at the Denver airport, as she was transferring between flights. Lott was placed under arrest for a warrant issued by the Oakley Police Department. The victim in this case was also with Lott.

The victim was found to be unharmed and was taken into protective custody.

The Oakley Police Department and the Contra Costa District Attorneys’ Office will be working together on how to best handle this criminal matter and how to best reunite the victim with her father.

The Oakley Police Department wishes to thank all of the regional and Federal agencies who assisted us with this investigation. We are grateful for the outcome.

Another example of a “stupid criminal.” If I were to do that I’d be on a plane heading out of the country to a destination like Paraguay or Uruguay.

QUAMESHA????
Where do they get these names??
Do they throw a scrabble game up in the air and
pick letters where they fall?

……… and you, MsKris, obviously didn’t get much attention from your elementary school teacher about ENGLISH grammar! It’s “real BADLY” not real “BAD” ….. and n= AND … a little three letter word which won’t break your fingers if you spell it out CORRECTLY!

Grace Mar 3, 2020 - 2:34 pm

What’s the matter, George? Is that a problem? Just pointing out the obvious!

George Mathews Mar 4, 2020 - 5:38 am

Ah, Gracie……anyone with a 2nd grade education ( which, obviously, didn’t take with many of my East County brethren) knows where Ray, and you ( apparently), are coming from

Georgie Boy! You’re smarter than I first thought you were. Usually, you don’t pick up on things quickly, but that’s OK. But to be frank, I think you need to pick up a hobby. Now, that spring is here, you might enjoy doing some gardening or take up a dog-walking job to fill your days and get you out in the world.

Don’t be shy, George! Let it all hang out!

Rufus Mar 3, 2020 - 2:32 pm

Would you, or any person with some brain matter, name your daughter “Quamesha?” What’s up with that? I guess that guarantees she will never get a job and will go on the public dole.

George Mathews Mar 4, 2020 - 5:38 am

Why not? You, apparently, are functioning in society with Rufus for a moniker

Simonpure Mar 4, 2020 - 11:29 am

Just sit back in your cute little blue house and barrage people all day George Jr.

Rufus Mar 6, 2020 - 5:02 pm

That’s right, George. It is a moniker. It’s my nom-de-plume.

Hatred? What hatred? You’re obviously not a fan of REALITY!

There are many more kids being kidnapped than this one. Research the Denver airport tunnels and you will see what I mean.

DIA is a very weird place! Set in the middle of nowhere! A lot can go on.
