Kudos to Oakley Police Department as they are currently taking your child’s safety to heart after concerned parents called in requesting extra patrol today around the Laurel Elementary School area due to “reckless” drivers. Police officers were found to be patrolling the area with the radar gun and pulling over multiple vehicles for a variety of reasons. Gotta love motorcycle cops!
With school getting out early today, this was a great thing and a reminder to those many drivers in school areas to slow down, pay attention, and to stop creating your own traffic lanes.

nice to see oakley pd being productive for a chance
All I can say about this is—–its about time! This is something that has been needed around all the schools. Especially Laurel and Ironhouse/Delta Vista. I hope that is is not a one time event, that we seen the motors out at the schools on a regular basis.
