Sept. 17: Mosquito Fogging Set for Oakley

Due to the high numbers of mosquitoes and the detection of West Nile virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck to control adult mosquitoes on the evening of September 17, 2015.

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Fetzer Lane and Monet Drive; on the east by Picasso Drive; on the south by West Cypress Road; and on the west by Jordan Lane, 4th Street, and Orchard Park Drive.

TIME: This area will be fogged between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

MATERIALS USED:  The insecticide to be used is

Pyrocide 7067 applied at a rate of .75 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra low volume sprayer.
