Last call for those who wish to make public comments on its Initial Study and Notice of Intent to Adopt a Negative Declaration (California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)) documents for the Oakley Focused General Plan Update.
The City opened public comments as of August 11, 2021 and ends on September 20, 2021 at 5:00 P.M.

Please, Summer Lake and Bethel Island MUST have an alternate road in and out before any more new homes are approved.
When is the next general plan update? I completely forgot about this one due to college, and I don’t like the way the city has been developed in the past 10 to 15 years.
Agreed !! Oakley has created a completely unacceptable and unsafe situation at E. Cypress and Main St.
And as if didn’t need yet another example of the short comings of the E. Cypress corridor infrastructure… today’s fatal accident on E. Cypress that totally grid locked any access to/from Bethel Island and Summer Lakes, turning Dutch Slough Road into a parking lot.
