Photos: Thursday Afternoon Crash Results in Minor Injuries

At roughly 5:06 pm Thursday afternoon, a two car accident resulted in minor injuries on Bridgehead Road in Oakley just off Main Street.

The incident occurred in between Arco and Shell gas stations in front of the entrance of the Oakley Comfort Suites.  The incident shut down one lane of traffic for about an hour.  One victim sustained a broken wrist while others were sore from the crash–including young children.

The incident required the assistance of East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, Oakley Police Department, Contra Costa County Sheriff and American Medical response.
