Oakley: Victim Airlifted With Major Injuries After Scaffolding Fall at Freedom High School

At 8:10 am Wednesday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a fall victim at Freedom High School in the City of Oakley.

According to preliminary information, a person fell from scaffolding two stories high on the campus. A medical helicopter was requested to the scene.

Station 53 firefighters reported one patient was down on the ground with a “major head trauma”. The male was estimated to be approximately 40-years-old. The medical helicopter was direct to land at a field on the campus of Freedom High School. The Oakley Police Department along with AMR also responded to the scene.

No other information was readily available.
