On Saturday, Hunter and Chris Schlander took top prize at the opening event of Dan’s Delta Outdoors Black Bass Tournament Series launching out of Big Break Marina. The pair scored 27.28 pounds. The pair collected $1,767 for their efforts.
Second prize ($883.50) went to the team of Steve O’Brien and Fidel Campus who brought caught 25.84 pounds while the team of Steve Pulliam and Jamond Andrew took third ($294) with 24.05 pounds.
Just out of the money in fourth was Phillip Dutra and Mike Andrews with 22.50 pounds, however, they did catch the “Big Fish” with a 10.31 pounder.
In fifth was bass fishing legend Dee Thomas partnered with Dan Daniel who caught 21.94 pounds.
At each event, 80% pay back with 10% going to the Tournament of Champions. All participating anglers who register at Dan’s Delta Outdoors, 5% of their purchase will be added to the tournament of champions money when using DDO Bass Code at Register.
