Shortly before 10:00 am Thursday, Oakley residents alerted the City of Oakley that five baby ducks fell into a storm drain on Stonegate Cir. in the Vintage Parkway neighborhood.
With the help of the City of Oakley, an AT&T crew, and Oakley residents, three of the five ducks were rescued. Two others remained in the sewer at around 11:30 am and it’s unclear if Animal Control was able to rescue them.
Kudos to alert Oakley residents!
