Oakley Police Seek Homicide Suspect, 19-Year-Old Omar Ordaz

The Oakley Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Omar Ordaz of Oakley.

Detectives have identified Ordaz as the suspect in Tuesday’s killing of 19-year-old Miguel Angel Plascencia Jr. of Antioch.

At about 1:53 PM on Tuesday, Oakley Police Officers were dispatched to a shooting on the 4400 block of Rose Avenue in Oakley. Officers arrived on scene and found Plascencia suffering from a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he was pronounced deceased
several hours later.

An arrest warrant for homicide has been issued for Ordaz, who has a paw-like tattoo on his cheek. He could possibly be in Oakley or Concord.He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached or contacted.
