At 1:25 pm Friday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a detached garage fire in the 2300 block of Knox Lane in the City of Oakley.
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from a detached garage and upon making entry, located a small fire inside. They were able to extinguish the fire without incident and stop it from spreading.
No injuries were reported.
Oakley: At 1:25 pm all three ECCFPD fire engines along with an auto aid engine from ConFire responded to a garage fire in the 2300 block of Knox Ln. Units arrived and found smoke coming from a detached garage. They were able to extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading to other parts of the property.
