It’s that time of year again! Our Cityhood Celebration will take place

Saturday, July 7 beginning at 6:00pm at the Freedom High School soccer basin. This event commemorates the anniversary of Oakley’s incorporation as a city in 1999.

Admission to the event is free. $5 parking is available in the student parking lot with proceeds benefiting the athletic programs at Freedom. Free parking is available in the staff parking lot and on-street parking as well. $5 wristbands are available for unlimited rides and attractions. Children age 0 – 5 will receive a free wristband.

Activities will include: pony rides, clown, airbrush tattoos, giant slide, bounce houses, obstacle courses, rock climbing wall and the Euro Bungy. We’ll also bring back the 90′ Camouflage boot camp obstacle course for the older kids, teens and adults too!

Food vendors will be on site, serving up delicious meals and tasty treats. Arts & Craft, retail and non-profit vendors will be on site so that you can do a little shopping. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music throughout the evening in anticipation of the fantastic fireworks show that will begin at about 9:30pm.
