At 4-year-old was airlifted to a local hospital after a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian call in the 1300 block of Portsmouth St in the City of Oakley Friday.
The incident occurred at 4:00 pm where the child sustained a head injury but was alert.
A medical helicopter was requested by Engine 53 fire captain who was on scene and requested the landing spot to be Nunn-Wilson Park. Engine 52 and Battalion 5 also responded. A second AMR unit was also requested to the scene.
UPDATE:
According to Oakley Police, a 4-year-old was playing with a sibling when she ran into a parked car. The 4-year-old was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Oakland.
