At 5:19 am Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District received multiple calls regarding a residential structure fire on Claremont Ct in the City of Oakley.
While responding, smoke was reported showing as units made their way to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters reported they had smoke and flames and upon further investigation, determined this was an exterior fire. The fire was knocked out in about 10-minutes and crews investigated for possible extensions into the garage area and attic.
As of 6:00 am, the cause of the fire was still under investigation. No other details were provided on scene.
