At 4:13 pm Thursday, the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of a gunshot wound on Riverview Driven near Bethel Island Road on Bethel Island.
According to the sheriffs office, it was reported as a gunshot wound to the neck. No suspect information was provided.
A medical helicopter was requested to the scene per East Contra Costa Fire Protection District as units arrived on scene to a gunshot victim on the ground.
