At 9:19 pm Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian in the 6200 block of Bethel Island Road on Bethel Island.
According to Battalion Chief Jake Gonzalez, Engine 53 arrived on scene and located a male down in the roadway. They secured the scene and along with AMR, pronounced a male in his 60’s deceased.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and stayed on scene.
CHP is investigating the incident.
