An intoxicated bicyclist riding his bike on Bethel Island Road near Ranch Road was injured after his bicycle was clipped by someone driving a purple Cadillac.
According to ECCFPD Battalion Chief Jeff Burris, the bicyclist suffered minor arm injuries and an abrasion to his nose. The patient was transported to a local hospital by AMR as a precaution.
The incident occurred around 4:00 pm Christmas Day and crews were on scene for roughly 50-minutes.
