The Friends of Oakley have extended their Christmas Basket registration to November 27-28 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm or until they have reached their maximum number of families.
The registration drive will be held at the Senior Center (215 2nd Street) where families can register.
Once registered, in December, families in need of assistance will be provided with a holiday meal and toys. They will also receive fresh and non-perishable food, and a gift for each child through the age of 17 in the family.
To register, families must bring a utility bill with the family names as proof of Oakley residence as well as a photo ID such as a drivers license or identification. The Oakley Christmas Basket distribution will be held on Sunday, December 16 at O’Hara Park School.
