The Pittsburg Unified School District announced that for Monday, November 19, they are cancelling student activities due to poor air quality.
According to the District:
As a reminder, this week is Thanksgiving Break and there is no school this week. Additionally, due to the continuing and expected poor air quality, we will NOT be having any activities with students tomorrow (Monday, November 19th). All athletic practices and the college application workshop are cancelled for tomorrow. Our traditional Thanksgiving luncheon for the students is also cancelled for tomorrow. We will evaluate conditions for Tuesday and notify people by the late afternoon Monday. We will hold the luncheon if we have the activities on Tuesday. Please help us get the word out about tomorrow and share this post.
