FreedomHS Video

Freedom High School as an opportunity to earn $110k and I would encourage all of East County to get behind them and vote daily in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest. While the video could be one of four selected by the judge’s panel, let’s lock up a grand prize with a massive voting campaign.

Before I get into the details, please pass this on to anyone and everyone you know. Let’s make this happen for our community and our students.

It should be noted, multiple email accounts are allowed so make sure you register with multiple email accounts and vote daily from of them.

Here is a message from Erik Faulkner, Principal, Freedom High School

Dear Friends of Freedom,

We are in the running to possibly win 110k through Samsung for our video submission.  I ask each of you to please vote and encourage as many of your contacts to vote for Freedom’s video as well.

Each person may vote once per day through March 4th, and you can vote using different email accounts.  You can view and vote for Freedom’s video at www.samsung.com/solvefortomorrow

I appreciate any help you can give.

Thank you.

Samsung is dedicated to helping children share the wonder of life, learning, and the planet. Through the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest we will give away more than $1,000,000* worth of technology to schools around the country.

Samsung and its partners called on public school teachers to raise student interest in science, technology, engineering and math by inviting them to answer the challenge, “Show how science or math can help the environment in your community.” More than 1,500 application essays came from teachers and students across the country. The top 75 were chosen and sent video production kits containing a Samsung laptop, camcorder and software from Adobe. Fifteen finalists have been selected and are featured on this site.

The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Judging Panel will select four grand prize winners and we’re asking you to help select the fifth grand prize winner – our Community Choice Winner – by voting below. Click on the videos below to view, then vote for your favorite!

This means anyone in Antioch, Brentwood, Discovery Bay and Pittsburg should vote to help out Oakley. We can do this!
