Just before 1:00 am Monday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle crash on W. Cypress Road and Cypress Ct.
The call came in at 12:56 am where upon arrival, firefighters located a vehicle that had gone into the yard and overturned while coming to rest against a house. The driver, a 19-year-old male was able to free himself.
Oakley police quickly took the male into custody.
Although Oakley Police have not yet confirmed it, sources say the driver was arrested for a DUI. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No further information has been released.

Oakley Police hvae confirmed that a DUI arrest was made and that the male was 19-years-old.
