At 5:55 pm Saturday, two Oakley Police officers were injured after responded to a welfare check which resulted in a vehicle pursuit followed by a foot bail.
The incident occurred on Delta Road and Olive Lane in the City of Oakley.
The incident prompted assistance from both the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office and the Brentwood Police Department which shutdown the roadway.
In total, two officers were transported along with the suspect to local hospitals. It was believed one officer suffered a knee injury and another officer suffered facial injuries.
