Officer Logan Cartwright was selected as the Oakley Police Department’s 2014 Officer of the Year. Officer Cartwright is a 12 year law enforcement veteran and has worked in Oakley since 2007.
Logan approaches his work with a professional, pro-active, and progressive outlook. As part of the Oakley Police Department’s Traffic Unit, Logan has more citizen contacts than the typical Oakley Officer.
Logan recognizes the significance his traffic enforcement and education efforts have on public safety and treats each citizen contact as an opportunity to make a positive impact. Logan’s strong work ethic, extraordinary sense of personal commitment, and ability to handle a tough assignment with a high degree of poise, tact, and diplomacy made his selection as Officer of the Year a clear choice.
