Oakley Shooting Leaves 27-Year-Old Man Dead

On Saturday at about 11:54 PM, Oakley police officers were dispatched to a large fight at a home on the first block of Hamilton Ct. and Malicoat Ave.

As officers were responding, they were told someone was shot. When they arrived on scene they found a 27 year old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers started CPR prior to the arrival of AMR who later pronounced the subject deceased.

Officers and Sheriffs Deputies set up a perimeter attempting to locate a possible subject while they detained more than a dozen people attending a party for questioning.

Detectives from the Oakley Police Department and Office of the Sheriff are investigating this homicide. No suspects have been identified.

And Oakley wants its own police department. I saw more than a dozen police officers and sheriffs last night. That would make up half of Oakley’s police force at one incident. Wake up Oakley City Council!

Take that back to Richmond or Oakland. I have lived in Antioch when it was still good and even now there is still good places.
