Dear Ryan and Courtney,

This is by far the most embarrassing thing that I have ever put myself through. I just want to say that I am so sorry for what I did and sorry for any inconvenience I caused everybody. This has really opened my eyes to what a complete fool I’ve made of myself. It’s never fun to realize that you’ve made yourself a complete joke in everybody’s eyes. It hurts but it is the truth and I hate it. I never meant to hurt anybody especially my family but I know I have. I want to get my life together more than anything and I plan on doing so immediately because I can’t stand who I’ve become. That childish stuff ends now, time for a big change. Again, with all my heart I’m truly sorry for my actions.

If this is the same Courtney who did the crime, know that it is never to late to change your life path. You have to answer for what you have done, but take that time to reflect on choices made and how you can be a better person from this point on. Never think it’s too late to make a change.

If this is really you, Courtney, I hope you do get your life together. Love you!!

I wish you’d come over to my porch and pick up the packages I left there. When you open them, you’d find a BIG “surprise” the kind you will never forget. Be sure to take a GOOD WHIFF!

On the internet, you are who you say you are. It may or may not be her, but she’s still a thief. If it is her, she’s not sorry. She’s sorry she got caught. Sell it to somebody else.

KatShifty Jan 29, 2018 - 2:23 pm

Thank you, Courtney. I wish you the best in turning things around. Please ignore the haters and focus on yourself. Turn to God and ask for His help. He loves you and will help you if you truly want to make a change for the better.

37 years old and just now realizes she ruined her life. Should have thought of that the first time! Good Luck.

Jay Jan 26, 2018 - 5:22 am

Courtney,
Way to take responsibility for your mistake, and for your public apology. I wish you all the best in turning things around. Sometimes, we have to hit rock bottom before we bounce back. It’s never too late to change. You can do this!

Old Pittsburg/Antioch Hwy Border Jan 26, 2018 - 5:26 am

Remember, they can never say they are “sorry” until they are caught.

Jerrys Dad Jan 26, 2018 - 11:27 am

Yes! It’s like that every time! Suddenly, after being caught……. they claim the got religion or want to “turn their life around” …. I don’t buy it!

Karma Jan 26, 2018 - 11:03 am

Someone stole my package for the first time off my porch 2 weeks ago in Oakley and googling you… you don’t live far from my location. I prayed to God for 2 weeks to make it right. I call it Karma and hope my $100 package was worth it if you were the actual theif.
If not, I was still thrilled the person you stole from gave Police info and you and your friend were caught! When things don’t belong to you, you can’t keep it or something will happen that you’ll end up spending more than what you stole from somewhere else in your life. Good luck in hopes you actually change your way for the better and don’t fall back to a life of criminal activity. I looked you up and know what you look like from Google. Now I’m going to google your Antioch friend. Love Google!! ?

Sick of thieves. They’re pathetic.

Joy Jan 26, 2018 - 2:30 pm

Dear Courtney,

If your post is legitimate I want to wish you well on improving your life path. I have never read a post from an alleged criminal that sounded more sincere. There are times in everyone’s life that cause them to reevaluate their choices. If this was your rock bottom I hope you are prepared to accept your consequences and scratch and claw your way out of the pit you have created.

As to the rest of you “commenters” didn’t your mothers ever tell you “if you don’t have something nice to say then shut the hell up”? I admit to questioning the legitimacy of Courtney’s post because I’ve never seen anyone want to publicly accept responsibility for their bad decisions. If this is actually someone who is attempting to make a change shame on all of you that continue to bash her. I am a firm believer that stupid should hurt, however, when stupid tries to change we all should be asking how can I help. My prayers will be with you Courtney. That is the most powerful help I can offer.

JOY – STFU!

Alex Trebek Jan 27, 2018 - 12:20 am

Courtney,

There is a way to verify it’s really you. When you were arrested, the male (driver) that was with you was wearing a t-shirt. What did it say on it? It’s an easy question, with an easy answer to prove that it is you.

Not liget Jan 27, 2018 - 9:48 am

How would a thief “Courtney” in jail post comments on this site folks. I doubt she has her iPhone and charger in her cell.

Alex Trebek Jan 27, 2018 - 9:49 pm

@Courtney Fair is fair and as far as I am concerned you are legit. (That was Exactly what his shirt said).

I wish you all of the best on straightening out your life. For what it’s worth it’s really never too late. If you are successful and I hope you are, you will one day appreciate your choice to do so. You only get one life. Don’t waste it.

Good choices, make good people.

Nick Jan 28, 2018 - 8:19 am

Thou shall NOT STEAL.

Mike Jan 28, 2018 - 9:25 pm

Courtney, I respect you for making your statement. I had a very important package stolen from my mailbox at Rose Garden between 12/28 – 1/06. If it was you, and you still have I’d love to get it back. No questions asked, no hard feelings. The package won’t mean much to you but means the world to me.

Sure we have all done some things we are not proud of and we can all agree that people who do bad things suffer the consequences! For example some of Courtneys consequences have been getting fired, losing custody of her children, and in and out of jail too many times for the same shit!! You all are suckers if you think this time will be different for her! Lets all just lock our doors and hope that your new next door neighbor isn’t a Courtney Miles!!
