Oakley Police Ask for Assistance in Identifying Attempted Robbery Suspect

The Oakley Police Department released a suspect photograph in an attempted robbery and is asking for community assistance in identifying the subject.

According to police, on March 11, Oakley Police officers responded to an attempted robbery call that occurred in the parking lot of Creekside Park. Information was developed that the suspect arrived at the park at about 6:00 p.m. and left the park at about 6:30 p.m. After the incident, the responsible walked east on Laurel Road.

Oakley detectives spoke to another citizen who saw the same individual on the trail on March 6th between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Anyone with security cameras in the neighborhoods east of Creekside Park are asked to check their footage for any relevant information.
