Oakley PD and Sheriff’s Office Search for Reported Dead Body

The Oakley Police Department and the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s office received a report of a dead body in a shed this afternoon somewhere between Brentwood and Oakley.  The call was anonymous and the caller reported that two workers aw the body but were scared to report it.

The caller claimed the body was in a shed near a water pump somewhere along Sellers Ave. between Brentwood Boulevard and Cypress Road—a large 8 mile area to cover that would also involve Brentwood PD.

A second call was made about an hour later claiming they saw boots and was near a corn field. So far, two hours into the search no body has been found.
