On Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a motorcycle accident on Sunnyview Court in the City of Oakley.
Upon arrival, Engine 52 located a 26-year-old motorcyclist who was down on the ground with traumatic injuries and who had also sustained a positive loss of consciousness.
A medical helicopter was requested where the rider was transported John Muir Walnut Creek.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Oakley Police
