Oakley: Jet Skier Airlifted After Crash With Boat

At around 3:30 pm Monday, East Contra Costa Fire and the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of a jet ski accident along Soundmound Blvd. along Sand Mound Slough in the City of Oakley.

It was reported that a jet skier sustained a head injury after making contact with a boat and possibly a barge.  A medical helicopter was requested.

By 3:36 pm, Engine 53 and Battalion 5 arrived on scene and began coordinating a helicopter landing zone for the female patient.

According to preliminary information, the 22 year-old female was found unconsciousness on the shoreline and was in an out of consciousness with first responders on scene.

No this is not what happen at all seen the hole thing go down. She ran the stand up onto the edge of the rocks and hit the throttle and it launched her with it dragging her along the rocks and land.

Wow! She ran into the levee on her own by herself. Sheriffs saw it all. Sad how people make stories up!
