Oakley: ECCFPD Responds to Vehicle Fire on Teakwood Drive

At roughly 2:14 pm Monday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a vehicle fire on 5000 block of Teakwood Drive  in Oakley.

The call originally was dispatched as a traffic accident, however, Engine 93 arrived on scene to find a vehicle abandoned and on fire. Firefighters quickly put out the fire and pried open the trunk which was empty. Oakley Police were also on scene and provided traffic control. American Medical Response was called but upon arrival, they were released because there was no patient.

As of 3:16 pm, Engine 93 was still on scene. No further details about the vehicle were available on scene.
