Oakley Cityhood Celebration A Success

by ECT

The City of Oakley did a wonderful job yesterday evening with its Cityhood Celebration which commemorated the anniversary of Oakley’s incorporation as a city in 1999. The celebration had a fantastic turnout for the family friendly event which concluded with a pyro spectacular.

I’ve provided a slideshow of photographs I took during the event. Activities included: pony rides, clown, airbrush tattoos, giant slide, bounce houses, obstacle courses, rock climbing wall and the Euro Bungy. There was also a great mix of vendors, food, and sweets which!

Kudos are in order to everyone who participated from City Staff  to the vendors for providing an all around great evening of fun.

A special shout out also goes out to Oakley P.D. who were on hand while ECCFPD had off-duty firefighters on hand to ensure our public safety.

Here is a link to the video I took of the Grand Finale of last nights pryo spectacular.
