The City of Oakley announced Monday its Oakley Concert in the Park Series that will begin in May.
From May through October, the City will be hosting Friday Night Bites in partnership with Foodie Crew. The series will feature local bands and food trucks on the first Friday of May, June, August, September, and October.
The food trucks and the live music will be onsite from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Civic Center Plaza, 3231 Main Street in Oakley.
Below are the dates & bands that this year’s series will feature.
- May 6, 2022: 925 Band
- June 3, 2022: Jake Gill
- August 5, 2022: Project 4 Band
- September 2, 2022: Maya Latin Roots
- October 7, 2022: Cut Loose
Guests may bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy their meal and concert in the park. No outside alcohol is permitted.

I think it’s awesome to see some arts and culture come to Oakley. Oakley very much needs this. I am definitely looking forward to it.
