The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Oakley Police Department between November 6 -12 according to information provided by Oakley Police.
This past week, Oakley police made a warrant arrest in Southern California for Kristina Salvitti who struck and killed a 15-year-old girl on E. Cypress Road near Bethel Island. She was located in San Bernadino by US Marshals who had been working with Oakley Police.
Oakley Police are also investigating a robbery that occured in the 100 block of Delta Road on Nov. 8. According to Oakley Police Lieutenant Eric Navarro, the adult female victim, reported she was assaulted in her open garage and attacked from behind. She was then knocked out and did not get any identification of her attacker–although Oakley Police did search the area. Police said the victims 5-year-old daughter was not injured.
