Life skills at the Oakley Library

by ECT

What do you do after High School?  College isn’t for everyone, and what are my education options?  Getting a job is tough, and there’s not much to put on a resume.  Certainly, money is tight, and handling it can be a chore.

Oakley Library is hosting three experts in just these subjects, February 9, 16, and 23.  February 9, Esperanza Velarde-Ellis of Contra Costa County Office of Education, will offer a class on putting together your first resume.

February 16, Jessica Leal of Travis Credit Union will talk about finances and how to manage them.  Closing up the series February 23, Elizabeth Ramirez of Los Medanos College will speak on all education options available to you.  Come get your questions answered and gain some direction.

Presentations begin at 3:30.
