Hook, Line & Sinker Set for Customer Appreciation Weekend

by ECT

For the last six years Hook, Line & Sinker in Oakley has treated its loyal customers to deals on all of their products. On June 22 & 23 the store will host its annual customer appreciation event.

Like always, most of the merchandise is on sale, but this year ammunition is the item of interest for most people.

“We have a customer appreciation sale every year to think all of our every day customers. And this just happens to be right before a major ammunition law,” said John Continente III, owner of Hook, Line & Sinker.

This new law would require a background check for anyone who purchases ammunition. These background checks on ammunition purchases can take up to ten days.

“It’s the one time a year to gear up big and once in in a life time to buy ammo before the government knows what and when you buy it and in what quantities,” said Continente.

The store decided to hold its customer appreciation event early, before this law takes effect, so anyone who wants to buy ammunition can.

“What we’re trying to do is help the customers out a little bit. We ordered a lot of extra ammunition and we’re going to have all different calibers and everything. We also got ammunition for duck season so that duck hunters can get their ammunition before the law changes,” said Hugh Henderson, of Hook, Line & Sinker.

The event will host its ever-popular fishing pond for children, where they can catch and keep their own trout. And, all popular gun and fishing vendors will be on site to talk and answer questions. In addition, all fire arms in the store will be 10% off. And all other items in the store will be 15% off.
