The Friends of Oakley will be having a final registration for their annual Christmas Basket program this Saturday, November 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Oakley and Bethel Island families in need of assistance will receive a holiday meal of fresh and non-perishable food as well as a gift for each child under the age of 17. This year’s registration event will be done via drive-through at Les Schwab (89 Carol Lane).
Registrants must wear masks and remain in their vehicles. Each person in the car must wear a mask, no exceptions. Please bring a photo ID and a current utility bill to verify that you live in Oakley or Bethel Island. Registration will close when the maximum number of participants has been reached.
Christmas baskets will be distributed on Sunday, December 12th at the Oakley Recreation Center (1250 O’Hara Avenue) at the time specified on your registration form.
