East Contra Costa County firefighters will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser for 3-year-old Quentin “Squish” Rios Saturday March 22 beginning at 9:00 am at Station #93 in Oakley.
Rios, who is from Oakley, was diagnosed with a brain tumor which has affected his vision where the tumor is located throughout his optic nerves. The tumor is inoperable because of its location within the brain and the treatment is 60-weeks of chemotherapy with a goal of preventing the tumor from further growth while hopefully shrinking the goal is to stop the tumor from growing and potentially shrinking it.
For those who cannot make the pancake breakfast, there is a GoFundMe page set up for the Rios Family located at at www.gofundme.com/57iy20.
If you attend:
When: Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 at 900 am
