Cloutier Team Earn Top Prize in Hook Line & Sinker Bass Tournament

On Sunday October 23, Hook Line & Sinker of Oakley held its second Bass Fishing Tournament Series of the season which saw the team of Robert and McKenzie Cloutier take the top prize with a total weight of 17.44 lbs.

Second place was the team of Mark and Jacob Howard at 16.80 lbs followed by Billy Davis and John Perry at 15.82 lbs.

Meanwhile, the big fish of the tournament came from Kevin and Matt Coleman at 8.54 lbs. They placed 20th at 11.94 lbs.

The tournament event consisted of 71 total boats with 66 boats weighing in.

The 2016 – 2017 Tournaments to be held at Russo’s Marina located at 3995 Willow Rd, Bethel Island, CA 94511.

The Hook, Line & Sinker bass tournament circuit is a low cost circuit for the amateur angler. The entry fee of $70 per team includes cash awards for the top 7 teams, plaques for the top 3 teams in each tournament and a hot dog BBQ after each tournament. At each tournament we also have a young angler raffle for our participants age 16 and under. A portion of the entry fee is also used to host the Tournament of Champions and tri-trip BBQ for the anglers at the end of each year. This is a great place to start if you want to fish professional tournaments or if you just want to have fun!
